Hello, I’m Tina, a Professional Pet Groomer with over 20 years of experience and a lifelong passion for animals. Originally from Maine, I grew up surrounded by both domestic and wild animals, which shaped my deep respect and understanding of their needs. After moving to the Wilmington area in 1998, I decided to make this community my home.

My love for animals extends far beyond the salon. I currently share my life with three dogs, seven cats, a Quaker parrot, and a betta fish. Over the years, I’ve also rescued and rehabilitated both wild and domestic animals, and those happy endings have always been incredibly rewarding to me.

Grooming has never felt like “just a job.” I approach every pet by putting myself in their mindset, focusing on easing anxiety and building trust throughout the grooming process. I’m especially drawn to helping pets who are nervous, fearful, or challenging, and I take pride in making their experience as calm and pleasant as possible. For me, it’s always about doing what’s best for the pet.
